Emma Greenley has been named Global Connections to Employment’s Team Member of the Quarter!

As a shift leader on Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska, Emma supports staffing and food service operations at the Two Seasons Dining Facility. She has an extensive knowledge of food service operations and is a strong team leader.

“Emma is the hardest worker I know,” said Aaron Oeth, project manager III. “Her inner working knowledge of the food service operation brings us compliance and success on a daily basis. Emma knows the abilities and strengths of each of her team members and never lets them settle for less than their best. One of Emma’s greatest qualities is being able to recognize abilities in team members that they might not even see in themselves. Emma walks her people through hard tasks and uses their strengths to help them succeed.”

For more than 21 years, Emma has supported GCE operations, growing and adapting with the unique needs of the customer.

“Emma cares for each customer as if they were family. Some of the customers have come in here for years and ask for her by name. As the Air Force changes their regulations, Emma adjusts and presses forward to give the customers the best possible dining experience,” said Aaron.

Emma is able to recognize areas and projects that may need extra support, taking initiative to help out wherever she can. With the startup of the Eielson custodial project, she volunteered to take on additional responsibilities to ensure contract success and top-notch service to our customers.

In addition to going above and beyond at work, Emma always makes sure she has time to volunteer in her local church and community. She regularly helps with potluck meals and food drives, ensuring her community is well taken care of.

“Emma refuses to let anyone go hungry, no matter their situation. She has been a huge blessing to her community, as well as her fellow team members,” Aaron said.
