Pensacola, Fla. (May 15, 2023) – LifeView Group ranked No. 10 among women-led businesses in this year’s “Top 100 Women-Led Businesses in Florida” by The Women’s Edge. The list includes nonprofit and for-profit organizations whose leaders are among the highest-ranking female executives in the Florida marketplace.
Representing LifeView Group is Allison Hill, chief executive officer. Hill is responsible for the daily functions of the $271 million human services nonprofit. The organization has an impact in multiple states and the District of Columbia through three affiliates: Lakeview Center, FamiliesFirst Network and Global Connections to Employment. Teams provide behavioral health care, child welfare support and employment services for people with disabilities. In 2022, LifeView Group impacted more than 28,000 lives.
“At all levels of the organization, we have seen that women leaders bring innate strengths like communication, empathy, critical thinking and sensitivity to the table,” said Hill. “These qualities are truly beneficial to a human services organization. I’m honored that half of our VPs and the majority of our executive leadership team is comprised of women. This brings enormous benefits to the people we serve.”

Transparency is a top priority for Hill. She makes information easily accessible for her large and diverse team of 2,500 employees. She does so by sharing “selfie videos” and offering unscripted “Ask Allison” sessions throughout the year. Likewise, diversity also is important. Her executive team, is evenly comprised of men and women. The organization’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Team is chaired by a woman of color. In addition, several employee resource groups encourage collaboration with veterans, remote workers and intergenerational employees to name a few.
Allison Hill joined the LifeView Group organization in January 1999. She was appointed chief financial officer four years later, becoming a vice president. In August 2014, she stepped into the role of chief operating officer. In 2016, Hill became the third chief executive officer in the organization’s long history. She serves in the UWF Executive Mentoring program; on the UWF College of Business Advisory Council; and is a Lifetime Member of Leadership Florida, graduating from Cornerstone Class 36. Hill is a recipient of the 2022 Pinnacle Award from 850 Business Magazine and a member of the Rotary Club of Pensacola. She serves on local and statewide boards of directors, including the YMCA of Northwest Florida and the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services.
