2022 Pinnacle Award recipient

Pensacola, Fla. (Oct. 17, 2022) – Allison Hill, president and CEO of LifeView Group, is a 2022 Pinnacle Award recipient. The award spotlights women in business who hold themselves to a high standard and contribute to improving their communities. 850 Business Magazine selected only 12 outstanding women from an 18-county region of Northwest Florida. 

How this 2022 Pinnacle Award recipient leads

Allison is responsible for the daily functions of a $217 million, 2,500-employee human services organization. Her team provides a wide range of services, for mental health and substance misuse. Additionally, they help ensure safety for children in the child welfare system and provide employment solutions for people with disabilities. The organization has work sites in Northwest Florida, multiple other states and the District of Columbia. 

In 2021, Allison led the organization through a historic transition. They disaffiliated from parent company Baptist Health Care following a 25-year relationship. They developed new systems and processes required to serve the independent nonprofit. For instance, they developed new governance, boards of directors and IT systems. In October 2022, Lakeview Center renamed its parent company LifeView Group. The organization rebranded division logos and launched four new websites to reflect is areas of business. Allison has been a compassionate and strong leader throughout these changes. She believes in transparent communications and wants team members to have an opportunity to ask and share thoughts. She frequently shares “selfie video” updates with staff and hosts unscripted “Ask Allison” forums.

How she supports others

Allison is a proponent of diversity and inclusion. Half of her executive team is comprised of women. Also, under Allison’s leadership, the organization launched employee resource groups. These group bring together a variety of groups including veterans, remote workers and intergenerational employees. Allison is a member of the Rotary Club of Pensacola and serves on local and statewide boards of directors. For instance, she’s on the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services and the YMCA of Northwest Florida boards.

Allison graduated from the University of West Florida (UWF) magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting. She also holds a Master of Accountancy degree from UWF and was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Having grown up here, she is passionate about the growth and advancement of people in her community. She supports students serving in the UWF Executive Mentoring program and is on the UWF College of Business Advisory Council. She is a Lifetime Member of Leadership Florida, graduating from Cornerstone Class 36.
