President and CEO honored as 2022 Pinnacle Award recipient

Pensacola, Fla. (October 17, 2022) – Allison Hill, president and CEO of LifeView Group – parent company of Global Connections to Employment was honored as a Pinnacle Award recipient from 850 Business Magazine. The award spotlights leading women in business who hold themselves to a high standard and contribute to the betterment of the community. Only 12 outstanding women from an 18-county region of Northwest Florida were selected. 

Allison is responsible for the daily functions of a $217 million, 2,500-employee human services organization that provides a wide range of services, including mental health, substance misuse, child welfare and employment solutions for people with disabilities. In addition to Northwest Florida, the organization has work sites in multiple states and the District of Columbia. 

In 2021, Allison led the organization through a historic transition, disaffiliating from parent company Baptist Health Care after a 25-year relationship. The organization developed all the systems and processes required to be an independent nonprofit, including new governance, boards of directors and IT systems. In October 2022, Lakeview Center renamed its parent company, rebranded division logos and launched four new websites to reflect is areas of business. Allison has been a compassionate and strong leader throughout these changes. She believes in transparent communications and often sends “selfie video” updates to all staff and hosts regular, unscripted “Ask Allison” forums to give all team members an opportunity to ask questions or share concerns or ideas. 

Allison is a proponent of diversity and inclusion. Half of her executive team is comprised of women, and under Allison’s leadership, the organization launched employee resource groups to bring together groups including veterans, remote workers and intergenerational employees. She also is a member of the Rotary Club of Pensacola and serves on local and statewide boards of directors, including the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services and the YMCA of Northwest Florida.

Allison graduated from the University of West Florida (UWF) magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting in 1992. She also holds a Master of Accountancy degree from UWF and was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is passionate about the growth and advancement of people in her community serving in the UWF Executive Mentoring program, on the UWF College of Business Advisory Council and as a Lifetime Member of Leadership Florida, graduating from Cornerstone Class 36.
